Why we built AmbushTix
Buying tickets from another fan shouldn’t feel like a gamble. The big resale sites pile on double-digit fees, hide the real price until the last screen, and leave you hoping the barcode actually works when you reach the gate. We thought fans deserved better — a place where the person on the other side of the sale is real, the price is the price, and your money is protected until you’re safely in your seat.
What we stand for
- Real people, verified. Every seller passes an identity check before they can list. No anonymous scalpers, no throwaway accounts.
- The price is the price. Buyers and sellers each pay a simple, flat 5% — far less than the big resale sites charge.
- Your money is protected. Every purchase is held in escrow until 48 hours after the event is scheduled to start. Sellers get paid after you’re taken care of, not before.
- Fair to sellers, too. Sellers pay a flat 3% only when a ticket actually sells — no listing fees, no monthly cut.
- A community, not a crowd of strangers. Membership keeps AmbushTix a real community of fans who all play by the same rules.
Built in Auburn
AmbushTix started with Auburn football and the Jordan-Hare gameday experience — student tickets, parking passes, the works. It’s where we know the fans and the venue best, so it’s where we chose to start. We’re building it right here, with plans to grow from there.
