How AmbushTix works
The short version
AmbushTix is a marketplace for verified ticket resale. Every seller verifies their identity before they can list, and your money is held in escrow until 48 hours after the event is scheduled to start. There are two memberships:seller membership is free and automatic when you sign up, and buyer membership is $17.16 a year to purchase. A flat 5% fee applies to each sale.
For buyers

Buyer membership is a simple $17.16/year — that’s what unlocks checkout. (Seller membership is separate, and free.)
Browse verified listings
Every ticket is listed by an identity-verified seller. Look for Top Seller badges, star ratings, and how long someone’s been a member before you buy.
Buy with a low 5% fee
A flat 5% fee is added at checkout — far less than the double-digit “convenience” charges the big resale sites pile on. Pay securely with card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Get your tickets
Depending on the listing, you’ll receive a secure download link by email or the seller transfers the tickets to your phone (Ticketmaster, Auburn TUF, and similar).
You’re protected
Your payment sits in escrow until 48 hours after the event is scheduled to start. If something’s wrong, you have a 48-hour window to open a dispute and we step in.
For sellers
Get seller membership & verify
Seller membership is free and automatic the moment you create an account. Before your first listing goes live, complete a one-time identity check (ID + selfie) through Stripe Identity — we never see your government ID ourselves, which is what keeps the marketplace honest.
List your tickets
Pick your game, enter your seats and price, and choose how you’ll deliver (file upload or mobile transfer). Listing is free.
Sell
Your listing shows up in search and on the relevant game page. You keep control of it until it sells.
Get paid
A flat 5% fee comes out only when your ticket sells — if it doesn’t sell, you owe nothing. Your payout is released 48 hours after the event is scheduled to start, once the buyer’s dispute window closes.

- Seller fee: 5% of the sale, deducted from your payout, only when a ticket sells.
